The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three full-time years’ agency experience in WordPress development. Candidates will be tasked with developing modern and compliant custom websites that are fully responsive. The position involves being able to successfully contribute to the entire process of development.

Responsibilities

    • HTML & CSS development & deployment of WordPress websites
    • Maintenance of WordPress websites
    • Enhance services within the WordPress Multisite environment
    • Working with the graphic and web design & development team
    • Planning, time management and coordinating efficiently

requirements

    • Minimum 3 years full-time WordPress experience
    • HTML 5 and CSS experience is essential
    • Significant work experience in PHP development
    • XML/JSON
    • Strong JavaScript skills
    • MySQL and knowledge of database systems
    • Experience in integration of payment gateways
    • Experience with Photoshop and/or Illustrator
    • Git, Bit bucket or equivalent version control
    • Google analytics and Google apps understanding
    • Matric and relevant tertiary qualification (Website Design or Multimedia Design).
    • Team player but ability to work independently
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work with technical leads/merge/project manage etc
    • Accuracy, attention to detail
